Okay, so the plan was, we'd stay home from aquafit, watch the last 15 minutes of NCIS on the Newfoundland feed at 19:15 (EST) to find out what happened, then decide whether to ever watch NCIS again.

But, it seems, Newfoundland fell asleep or something. Or maybe they fell into the ocean. All three of my digital stations from Newfoundland carked around 19:16. Carked. Ded.

You know when it came back? In time for the commercials just before the credits.

This is unbefuckinglievable.

Lord, tunderin' Jaysus.

We actually PHONED the station (CJON) to see what was going on. They said that their analog feed was working fine and they'd check the satellite. I guess they did, because it came back while K. was on hold with them just, as I mentioned, before the final credits.

I don't know what happened. I will not know what happened until everyone else in the Eastern time zone knows.

Okay -- any of you who are reading this and happen to BE in Newfoundland and actually SAW the analog broadcast, you MUST TELL ME. Please!!!

I feel your pain. Guess what I was watching. My feed came back for 30 or so seconds, all told. Enough that I know who left but beyond that??? And it wasn't just the nfld stations--ATV and CBC hfx also went bye bye. I called starchoice and it was a freaking 20-35 min wait to talk to a rep.

So, I'm with you, waiting another 20 mins for it to start on CBS but about an hour to see what I missed. Bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /whiny rant
