When Worlds Collide
Mar. 18th, 2007 06:27 pmWe're slowly catching up on all the shows we've been recording since...oh, about the end of November. Which means, we've also been avoiding all the discussion about our favorite shows for fear of being spoiled. So I have a question for anyone who watches Criminal Minds:
In the episode "Profiler, Profiled"--the one where the team learns something about Morgan's past--there was a flashback scene to Morgan's youth. Based on the birthdate they gave him and some other internal evidence, I would guess it was about 1988. And in the scene, what looks suspiciously like a green Buick Riviera nearly hits Morgan when he crosses the street. What I want to know is, did anyone else immediately think that was Ray Vecchio?
In other news, I made a carrot cake and two cheesecakes this week, thanks to a sale on cream cheese and the unexpected availability of key limes in the grocery store. The carrot cake was unbelievable--the best I've ever tasted--and it must be due to the recipe, because I'm not that great a cook. The only thing I did differently from the instructions was to add a cup of chopped walnuts. If you like carrot cake, give this one a try.
