Umm...hi?

It's been over two weeks since I posted an entry, so I thought I'd just let y'all know that we are alive. I've been SLOWLY catching up on my reading. A number of you are sick. That sucks. Get better soon.

K and I are still adjusting to cohabitation. We're slowly settling into something of a routine -- we just need to find a way to get things accomplished while still engaging in Married People Time. There's just so much to do around the house. When we're both home, there's always something that needs attention and it's hard to prioritize -- is getting the new dresser built more urgent than giving the cat a bath?

We did manage to do some writing by dint of stopping by a park on the way home from grocery shopping one morning. We sat in the car, in the rain, sipping coffee, eating Timbits, and talking through some background stuff while K took notes. It worked fairly well - no distractions. But if we're going to make this a habit, we'll have to get a laptop -- longhand is for the birds, man.

And we've both been so TIRED. It makes no sense. We're going to bed much earlier, but we're still both dragging ass all the time.

Oh, and? Our cycles seem to by synching up again, so we're both insanely hormonal right now. Meep!

More later. Probably.

M.

Glad to see you're still alive and kicking.

You've both been missed, but happy for your married time.

Hey, there!! Good to hear from you. Glad you're both doing well, if hormonal and busy. *bg* And happy to read that you've done some writing. I have a laptop, but I tend to leave it at my desk, and carry a pad of paper with me everywhere, like when I'm watching television and need something to do during long at-bats or between those pesky commercials. Easier to stuff in my purse, as well, lol. I have no trouble transcribing a couple paragraphs or even a couple of pages, but I do tend to put off typing up an entire fic, which, yeah, kinda defeats the purpose of having written it, lol!

As one of those sickies, I appreciate your thoughts. This cough is gonna kill me! If it's not the sensation of swallowing broken glass, it's having to do a load of panties because I'm going through them like crazy, lol. (Yeah, not as fun as it sounds. *g*)

Not dead! This is good. *g*

I'm glad you two finally get to be married people together, but you've definitely been missed.

Good to see y'all!

I'll have you both know that I've recently started watching NCIS, and even more recently started reading NCIS fic, and it's All. Your. Fault. ;)

You're heeeeeeere! *dances* I've missed you both! *tacklehugs both of you and clings*

Um.

*clears throat*

A little too effusive? Sorry. ;-)

Okay, then. I've been thinking of the two of you often, and hoping that you're settling in comfortably -- figuring out how to share time and space and life with someone when you're used to living alone is hard, no matter how wonderful the relationship -- and enjoying being together. It's lovely to see a post from you, and I'll look forward to hearing from you whenever it fits into your lives, whether with RL stuff or fannishness.

It's just not the same around here without you. You are missed.

You're back!!!! Yeah!!! Thought maybe we'd have to send the Mounties out to look for you, not to mention missing your posts and fic and such. A laptop...if it weren't for the computer and the instant typing and such, there would be no fic from 'katewallace'..it was hard enough to churn the stuff out on a typewriter back in the day. (Never mind the mirror-writing I did when I wrote fic in High School..) Glad to hear everything is going pretty well and that you're settling in. Looking forward to 'hearing' from you more and more ficage! And Timbits and writing...hummm..will have to try that!

Glad to hear from you!

And yes, longhand does suck. Longhand may be the root cause of laptops.

Good that you two are getting all settled, and into a routine. {{HUGS}}
Yep, longhand sucks. Although typing can bite, sometimes, too. *sticks out tongue at sore wrist*
