It's Tuesday! Yay! New NCIS and new House. Although, I *am* getting decidedly nervous as the NCIS season finale approaches. Why have there been no leaks, people? This is 2006! There are no secrets! Somebody NEEDS to tell me what's going to happen!

*sigh*

Heck, yes. Need spoilers. Need spoilers badly. I'm in shock that we got hints of this months ago and it still hasn't spilled.

As much as I'm going to miss NCIS once it's on hiatus...14 days until we know for sure.

I'm not sure I want to watch the season finale until I know what happens.

I am a giant freak, it is true, but I like to be emotionally prepared for this kind of thing. I'm thinking that I might just wait until after the finale airs and the secret's out before watching it.

In some ways, I'm looking forward to the summer break -- it will give me a chance to catch up on some writing without worrying that I'll be Jossed the following Tuesday. *grin*

I'm always torn. Last year I tried desperately up until the day of the finale to find out who was going. But once it was The Day, I figured I'd already suffered through the anxiety, I wasn't going to save hardly any worry, I might as well not read the three-hours-before spoilers (due to the time difference) and get the proper emotional impact.

*grins* There is a certain freedom in the summer break, isn't there? Not so much of an issue with me, given that my big ongoing thing is an AU, but still.

Well, there are spoilers. I haven't read many of them, but the basic plot has been released, at least I think it was the finale. Do you want me to tell you in a comment or look for a link? You could also join the NCIS Yahoo group
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NCIS-CBS/
where they talk about spoilers all the time. (so much that I've gone no mail, actually)

Most of the posts on that group were so irritating that I had to go no-mail as well.

I know the general outline of the finale plot -- I've been haunting http://www.spoilerfix.com/ncis.php. But what nobody seems to know is who Bellisario was talking about when he said, "...at the end of the season someone will be leaving NCIS."

I've argued myself into believing (mostly) that it will be Shepard or Ducky. But last season, I was convinced that McGee was going to be killed in Twilight, so I'm not that reliable.

Argh.

I am so hoping it will be Shepard, but I think it's Gibbs. He only said that somebody is leaving NCIS, that doesn't mean the show. So, if we get to know more about Gibbs daughter and wife, it would make sense for Gibbs to leave. Let's say his daughter and wife were killed and he finds new evidence, then he could leave to go hunting for the killerson his own. I don't think they'll make him leave the show, but the rest of the team could work without him, or help him looking for the killers. And they did establish Tony as a lead agent quite a lot this season.

Or it could be Ziva. I don't know how the fans' reaction to her is, but if it isn't as positive as they had hoped, it would make sense for her to leave. Plus, it's easy, because they can send her back to Isreal. Though that would seem a bit easy for Bellisario. I don't dislike her as much as I did at the beginning, but I know I can live without her easily.

Just please don't let it be McGee or Tony or Abby. Or Ducky. And if it is Gibbs, let's hope he only leaves NCIS for a while, but not the show.
