Flashforward?

I recently read that Robert Sawyer's novel Flashforward is being made into a TV series. Short synopsis: Everyone in the world blacks out for a short time and when they wake up many people have seen a vision of themselves in the future.

With this in mind, here's what happened when we came across this picture while browsing lolcats...

M: Aww.
K: Hey, that looks just like our bedspread!
M: Hey, that looks just like one of our cats!
K: Oh my!
M: Do you think it's from...*whisper* the future?
M & K: Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhaaaaaaahhhh!

I met Robert Sawyer once. Really nice guy. I was hoping they'd make a movie or a miniseries of his "Humanoid" series, but knowing TV, it would probably end up like the Geico cavemen.

I would love to see a miniseries of those books! I find a lot of his work a bit too dystopian for my taste, but that series really worked for me. Maybe if the CBC was to take it on we could avoid the Geico syndrome...
