In which I am starving!

I am starving. I am very, very hungry. Why? Because I didn't pack a lunch for myself this morning. I was kind of dopey having been awake most of the night with freezing rain and wind pounding my bedroom windows, punctuated by thunder and lightning. Also, I thought I might be able to get out of here at 13:00 today. No such luck. *mutter*

gjaneo asked us to let y'all know about the FanFic Lovers Sail-Away Adventure. It's three days of fanfic fun in October, sailing from Florida to the Bahamas (and, presumably, back again if Captain Sparrow doesn't get you).

I'm not sure if the missus and I will be aboard. Things are so up in the air, employment-wise, moving-wise, etc., that we're not making any firm plans for awhile. I am hoping we can attend CON.TXT in June. I love any opportunity to get near Baltimore. Throw in lots of slash and I am so there. Assuming we can get the time off, &etc.

Have I mentioned that I'm HUNGRY?? I could go downstairs and buy something, but I hate to do that when I've got lots of perfectly good food in my fridge at home. Where I'll be in less than 3 hours. I can stand it. Probably. *eyes year-old package of instant oatmeal*
